ACE brake

The ACE brake is tunable– With the indicator lines located on the brake as well as the collar you can “tune” the brake to your rifle setup. What that means is that you can ensure that your rifle recoils straight up and down– every time.

About Us
The ACE brake was created by the two most recent PRS Champions as well as a NRL Champion-- Clay Blackketter, Austin Orgain and Tate Streater.
Anyone that knows us, knows that we would never put our name on something that we didn’t believe was the best option available. The idea behind the ACE brake was to have class leading recoil reduction without getting “beat up” by gases being blown back by angled ports. In testing many brakes during competition the biggest complaint we ever had was having headaches or feeling worn out from two days of shooting so we attacked the problem. After many different designs and rigorous testing we settled on what is now the ACE brake.

The New ACE Max Brake

Shoot flatter. Stay on target.

The New ACE Max Muzzle Brake turns recoil into smooth, controlled performance—giving you a measurable edge in competition and more confidence during long range sessions. Engineered to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise, the ACE Max helps you spot impacts, recover faster between shots, and stay locked in behind the rifle when it matters most.

Key benefits:

  • Significantly reduces recoil and muzzle climb

  • Faster follow-up shots and improved shot-to-shot control

  • Helps shooters stay on target and spot impacts

  • Designed for competitive and serious range use

  • Precision-machined for consistent, reliable performance

Whether you’re pushing for the podium or dialing in your rifle at the range, the ACE Max Muzzle Brake delivers flatter shooting and better control—shot after shot.

The Original ACE Brake

The ACE brake is tunable– With the indicator lines located on the brake as well as the collar you can “tune” the brake to your rifle setup. What that means is that you can ensure that your rifle recoils straight up and down– every time.
The indicator lines allow you to have a solid reference for how much you rotate the brake to get the perfect recoil pattern. Once you have it found simply use the Allen wrench to tighten the collar down onto the brake. Now you can torque your brake on and off and it will come back to the same spot every time.
